The U.S. ranks 37th in the world forhealthcare system performance, yet spends more on healthcare per capita and more on healthcare as percentage of its GDP than any other nation... The U.S. is currently transitioning from paper-based health records to Electronic Health Records (EHRs) and secure healthcare communications technologies. In parallel, mobile health technology is playing an increasing role in providing access to quality care for all Americans.
