From the article: "The Office of the National Coordinator for Health IT plans to conduct a nationwide survey to gauge the percentage of individuals who are concerned about the privacy and security of electronic health records (EHRs).ONC will also inquire if individuals have kept any part of their medical history from their physician due to privacy concerns and if they are concerned that an unauthorized person would see their medical information if it is sent electronically,… ONC expects to interview 100 individuals for the pretest survey as part of the 2012 implementation year and interview 2,000 individuals annually for five years for the main survey."
